Libya: Achieving the UN system and the opposition accused of committing war crimes

Explosion in Benghazi, Ghanim counter dissidents

And on the opposition forces, the Committee noted that "some of the work falls within the framework of war crimes."
The commission was set up following a decision of the Human Rights Council in February to demand an independent assessment of acts of violence committed in Libya since the outbreak of protests.
To a powerful explosion occurred in front of one of the largest hotels in Benghazi (eastern Libya).
The blast tore down the two cars were parked in a garage Tibesti Hotel, which usually come down to the diplomats, journalists and officials from the opposition, and rose a dense cloud of black smoke.
It seems that the explosion caused no casualties, also said an employee at the hotel, explaining that he did not see the wounded or dead bodies transported by ambulances.
On the other hand the presence and former Libyan Oil Minister Shukri Ghanem in Italy, told reporters in Rome that he could no longer work in the current situation in Libya.
He announced Ghanem, who represented Libya in the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), has joined the opposition.
He said he wanted to work for the implementation of democracy in his country.
