Closure of embassies in London and Tehran

London agencies, announced the British Foreign Secretary William Hague on Wednesday closed the British embassy in Tehran, which was yesterday attacked by demonstrators as well as the closure of the Iranian embassy in London and the departure of employees "within 48 hours."
Hague said before the House, "now we closed our embassy in Tehran," adding that the attack would not have been located "Without consent" from the Iranian regime. "We have decided to evacuate all our staff," explaining that "the last employees left Iran."


He continued that "the Iranian charge d'affaires in London, be informed that we demand closure of Iran's embassy in London immediately and that the members of the Iranian diplomatic mission to leave the UK within 48 hours." Haig explained that "this certainly does not mean full diplomatic relations. It made our relationship with Iran reduces to the lowest level while maintaining diplomatic relations."


He added that "the matter is that the Iranian authorities can not protect our embassy or that this attack did not fall without the consent of the extent of the system." For its part, summoned the German Foreign Ministry on Wednesday, the German Ambassador to Tehran for "consultations" and the day after demonstrators attacked the British embassy in the Iranian capital. The ministry said in a statement: "Given the events of yesterday in Tehran decided to Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle called the German ambassador in Tehran to Berlin for consultations."
